Description

Purpose: This instrument is used to demonstrate the relationship between the pitch of the sound and the vibration frequency of the sound source, and it is used for teaching demonstrations in middle school physics classes.
Structure: Three steel thin gears, the number of teeth are 40, 60 and 80, are installed on a shaft altogether.
How to use: Fix the pronunciation gear on the turntable, turn the turntable at a constant speed, touch one of the gears with a hard film, the pronunciation gear vibrates and make a sound, and the sound from the film changes accordingly when the speed is changed. The faster the speed, the higher the pitch. Keep the rotation speed constant, touch different gears with a hard film, the film will emit different tones of sound, the more the number of gear teeth, the higher the pitch of the sound produced by the film.
Note: The nut on the gear shaft must be tightened to prevent the gear
Hit or throw the gears out.
