Description

This plug type is commonly uses in higher power connections that need to be disconnected often like Power Supply or speakers.

for Plug, wire is attached with a screw – this works best for wires 2-5mm dia, for thinner wires is good to reinforce them with ferule or crimp barrel first.
There is a hole across, which allows to stack/daisychain connections – quite convenient for power supply lead application.
the lantern construction allows plug to spin inside socket, removing certain tensions from wire.

for socket, bottom part is M6 thread and nut. it needs to be mounted in insulating material up to 4mm thick
