The T24-WSS is a wireless wind speed transmitter (anemometer) built on Mantracourt’s advanced T24 2.4 GHz wireless technology. It operates seamlessly alongside any T24 device, including base stations, handheld displays, analogue outputs, relay modules, computer interfaces, and GPRS data loggers. Data transmitted by the T24-WSS can be received by multiple T24 receivers and displays at the same time, providing a flexible and scalable solution for wind monitoring.

This high-performance wireless anemometer measures rolling average wind speeds from 5 mph to 125 mph and detects gusts over user-defined periods of 1, 3, 5, or 10 seconds. Wind speed measurements are available in m/s, fps, mph, km/h, or knots, and the device is supplied pre-calibrated for ease of deployment. Accuracy is rated at ±0.5 mph between 5 and 10 mph, and ±4% between 10 and 125 mph, ensuring reliable measurements in both low and high wind conditions.

Housed in a rugged IP67-rated enclosure, the T24-WSS features a high-quality 3-cup rotor for stable, long-term operation in outdoor environments. It provides a wireless line-of-sight range of up to 800 m (2,600 ft) and is optimised for low power consumption, delivering exceptional battery life of more than 12 months under normal field operation. For applications that require continuous operation or high sampling rates, the T24-WSS can be powered using Mantracourt’s Power Pack1 (PP1) and Solar Panel1 (SP1).
