Hoffman Voltameter – Complete Electrolysis Apparatus (KS4+)
This Hoffman Voltameter is a high‑quality electrolysis apparatus suitable for KS4 and above, designed for demonstrating the electrolytic decomposition of water and exploring chemical composition through gas collection. Constructed from durable 3.3 borosilicate Labglass, the unit includes precision glass key stopcocks for accurate gas measurement and controlled release.
Supplied with both platinum electrodes (for acidified water) and carbon electrodes (for chloride‑containing solutions), the apparatus supports a wide range of electrochemical investigations. An instruction guide is included.
Note: A support stand with clamps and a 12 V DC power supply are required but not supplied.
